GROUP COURSES

Liden & Denz language centers practice a tried and tested open group system with continuous enrolment and student intake every second week throughout the year (some restrictions for beginners apply). As our students arrive from all over the world, our groups tend to be very international. This is a perfect occasion to make new friends but it also requires that teaching will be in Russian only with no explanations given in English or any other language, which helps you to join course from the first day at school.
All our groups are formed according to a written and oral assessment test compulsory for every arriving student. The identical schedules for St. Petersburg and Moscow allow for a flexible combination of both cities under the condition that our intake dates are met.

Standard Group Course

Communicative teaching in small groups (maximum 10 students per group) makes this course a pleasurable and productive experience. Our Standard Group Course gives participants the chance to learn communicative skills in "real life" situations. This course of 20 weekly lessons is offered year round and follows a modular pattern of two-week units.
For participants staying four weeks or longer, following modules build upon the grammar basics of the first module, treating the same topics from a different angle with more in-depth explanations, more complex vocabulary, different exercises and more dialogues.
Standard Group Courses are available for the first six levels year-round. Beginners may start on the dates indicated with a star (*) in our pricelist and are advised to be familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet.
Each course starts on a Monday and ends on a Friday, with lessons taking place usually between 10:00 and 14:00.
The minimum course length is two weeks.
The maximum course length is open.
Our rates are digressive and need to be adjusted with East Blaze Connection, Inc; the more weeks you stay the lower cost per week will be applied.

Academic Year

Academic Year Courses are moderately priced long-term group courses, either with 25 or 20 lessons per week. The Academic Year Course with 25 lessons per week has the same structure as our Intensive Group Course with 20 standard lessons per week and a supplement of 5 weekly lessons designated for subjects of general interest. The Academic Year Course with 20 weekly lessons is identical in content with our Standard Group Course.
Please, note that there are restricted course start dates and fixed course lengths of 24, 36 or 48 weeks. Beginners are advised to be familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet.
School Groups
Both centers offer tailor made programs for school, college or university groups, eager to come to Russia for an immersion program. Closed Groups arrive and leave at the same time and follow the same curriculum. There can be several levels within a closed group though. The course rates are very student friendly but depend to a large extent on the season, the number of participants, levels and group leaders coming on the trip. Rates are available on request.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, payment of the total fee without deduction is due no later than 21 days prior to the course starting date (immediately if enrolling later). The student agrees to send the full package of required documents along with the full payment (if paying by check – enclose original check or enclose filled and signed Credit Card authorization form along with the copy of actual card if paying by Credit Card). All payments are made to the name of East Blaze Connection, Inc (dba RissiaGateway.com) Any bank charges inflicted by a correspondent (third) bank on an international remittance, mailing and other fees will be billed to the student separately and should be paid on the date pointed in the attached invoice.

Sanctions in case of non-payment
Unless otherwise agreed, Liden & Denz reserves the right to cancel a course if payment for this course is overdue. Prior to a cancellation, the student receives a written notification by email or by fax. If a student arrives at school with payments still overdue, Liden & Denz reserves the right to deny any booked services to the student (transfer, teaching and accommodation).

Enrolment Fee
Liden & Denz applies a sign-up fee for all bookings, which includes course inscription service and visa support (issuing of the invitation letter and visa registration upon arrival). Standard commission rates apply.

Cancellation fees
Cancellation fees depend on the length of the course, type of accommodations and other optional services.
A course cancellation in 2 weeks before its start is free.
Accommodation cancellations:
- free for host family stay;
- for shared flats – the school charges full amount for the first week;
- private apartments - handling fee ($350) is non-refundable
But there are some positions in case of cancellation of which we will have to charge the full sum:
