Giant offer two ranges of children’s bikes. The first are for little ones that have never ridden before and are looking for their first bike. The second are for the more experienced young riders who use their bike for fun and freedom. Let’s take a look at both.
First Bike
For first time riders there are three bikes suitable for children. The L’il Giant is a tricycle that comes in blue, red, pink or silver and safety is key. A pole attached to the back of the bike lets parents keep control over where the bike goes and the training wheels help the child to stay balanced. The PUDD’N range comes in junior and normal size and are designed for little girls. There is a lovely basket on the front, removable training wheels and 16” wheels to help first time riders with their confidence. The junior version has smaller wheels at 12” and stabilisers. The last model in its first time rider range is Animator. This is the boy’s version of the larger bike and is painted in darker colours than PUDD’N without the basket. Like PUDD’N there is an original size and a junior version of the bike.
Sport Bikes
The MTX and Taffy ranges are Giant’s bikes for children with more riding experience. The MTX comes in two sizes; the 125 and 225 with the 125 having 6 speed gears and 20” wheels. The 225 has 18 speed gears and 24” wheels. The frame on both bikes is made from Alux aluminium technology and feature a suspension fork. Taffy is the female version of the MTX bike. The 125 has smaller wheels and fewer gears than the 225.
